•  The Built-In Compass at top of Lantern always points North (as shown.)

Compass Reading Tips

•  Hold Lantern level. The needle

must be balanced properly for an

accurate directional reading.

•  Read the correct direction; “N”

stands for “North.”

•  High Intensity Beam. Extremely bright 300 lumen light.
•  Do not shine directly into eyes; may cause vision

damage.

•  Follow City Ordinance Guidelines for proper disposal of

dry cell batteries.

•  Recommended for Ages 14+.

•  Remove and store batteries when not in

use for 90 days or longer.

•  Clean Lantern with a clean, dry cloth as

needed; dry after use.

•  Lubricate screw threads and moving

parts with standard consumer lubricant

as needed.

If the Lantern does not turn on; works intermittently; or has a weak light:

•  Remove and replace batteries.
•  Be sure Lantern base is screwed on tightly,

and batteries are inserted properly in battery

compartment.

•  If problem persists, contact Pro-4 Tactical for

technical advice.

•  See www.Pro-4Tactical.com for Warranty and

Replacement Information.

•  Move to a different area if the

compass reading is unstable.

•  Use common sense: e.g., know that

the sun rises in the East and sets

in the West.
