Ensure the lifting pole is pointing towards the centre of the mattress platform and the lugs on the lifting 

pole are fully located in the slots on the socket.

6.

Join the central section to the 2 lower sections, install and tighten the hand-screws.

7.

Install the assembled lifting pole into both sockets at the head section of the bed.

The Ultimate Lifting Pole safe working load of 80 kg must not be exceeded to prevent damage to the bed

fixing and the attached accessories.

• The normal service life for care beds in domestic use is approximately 5 years. The care bed and
accessories must not be disposed of as normal domestic waste after their service life has expired. To ensure
that it is disposed of in an environmentally compatible way please contact Harvest Healthcare Ltd.
• Only persons who have been trained or are competent should install accessories on a care bed. This also
applies for persons who inspect accessories during routine maintenance.

If there is a suspected fault or damage with the fitted accessory, this must be removed or replaced as soon

as the fault has been identified. Clearly mark on the equipment “Faulty Do Not Use” and take it immediately out 

of service. Please inform the person in charge without delay.

Do not immerse any accessory components in water, only wipe clean with a damp cloth. Only disinfection

by wiping is allowed of the metal parts or the lifting pole handle.
