4.5 Data Acquisition Software Installation
This section provides the installation procedures for LightField and WinSpec/32 data
acquisition software.
4.5.1 Install LightField
Perform the following procedure to install LightField on the host computer:
NOTE:
Install the GigE Adapter card BEFORE installing the
WinSpec/32 application software.
1. The operating system on the desired host computer is either Windows Vista (64-bit) or
Windows 7 (64-bit).
2. Verify the Pro 1000 interface card has been installed.
3.
Verify that the host computer is connected to the Internet. An internet connection may
be required for product activation.
4.
Insert the LightField Installation CD into the CD drive on the host computer, and follow
the on-screen prompts.
Figure 4-1 illustrates a typical InstallShield Wizard dialog.

After the installation has been completed, reboot the host computer.
6.
Connect the NIRvana-LN system components to the host computer and apply power.
7.
Launch LightField and activate it according to on-screen instructions.
