The slicer and fine slicer can be used to
slice ham or cheese or for cutting, for
example, carrots.
Large knife
See Figure 4.
1 Slide the large knife over the accessory
shaft and push it downwards as far as
possible. It may be necessary to rotate
the knife clockwise or anticlockwise
slightly, so that it slides all the way
down.
2 Follow the instructions given in “Use”.
Accessories for grating and shredding
See Figure 5.
1 Place the accessory on the accessory
shaft, making sure the side to be used
is facing upwards.
2 Follow the instructions given in “Use”.
Slicer
See Figure 6.
1 Adjust the thickness of the slice to be
cut by rotating the slicer's shaft to the
desired position.
(1 mm to 7 mm).
2 Place the slicer on the accessory shaft.
3 Follow the instructions given in “Use”.
Maintenance
and cleaning
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water, or in other liquids. If this was to
happen, do not use the appliance
again and dispose of the appliance for
safety reasons.
• Never use corrosive or scouring
cleaning agents.
• Be careful when attaching and
removing accessories. The knives and
graters/shredders are sharp. Only
hold them by the plastic ends.
1 Remove the plug from the plug socket
and, if required, push the power cord
into the storage space at the back of
the appliance.
2 Clean the mixing bowl, the lid and all
the accessories, except the motor
housing, with warm water and a small
amount of washing-up liquid. You can
also clean these items in a dishwasher.
After washing, rinse all the parts with
ample water and dry them thoroughly.
3 Clean the motor housing and the power
cord with the special microfibre cloth
supplied with the appliance. Do not
moisten the cloth. Remove stubborn dirt
with a damp cloth and a small amount
of washing-up liquid.
4 Place the accessories in the storage
tray at the bottom of the appliance.
Store the food processor.
