Start measurement
1. Follow the warning messages in

During the measurement, the prog-
ress is shown in the following indica-
tors:
Measuring plane
While the indicator is rotating, the mea-
surement is performed.
Measurement completed
After successful measurement, the indica-
tor lights up green.
3. Switch off the laser after the measure-
ment is completed, unless you want
to perform further measurements.
Averaging (if enabled):
The indication shows the measured
planes that are used to average a mea-
sured value.

Manual caustic measure
In the single plane measurement mode, further measurements can be performed at other z-positions.
Since the BeamMonitor BM+ does not have a z-axis, the laser or the device must be moved ac-
cording to the entered value. With this procedure, a manual caustic can be measured.
Single measurement with manual input
of the z-position:
1. Click on the
Settings
tab.
2. In the
z-position in mm
field, enter
the desired position of the next plane
to be measured.
3. Start and stop the measurement
