3. Disconnect the black (-) and red (+) battery
cables from the battery terminals of each battery.
4. Remove the old batteries.
5. Place the new batteries into the battery wells.
6. Connect the red battery cable to the positive (+)
battery terminal of each battery.
7. Connect the black battery cable to the negative
(-) battery terminal of each battery.
8. Connect the battery harnesses and battery tie-
down strap.
9. Replace the shroud.
Angle the front of the scooter shroud down
and push slightly forward to fit the front
fender under the locking posts on the frame.
See figure 8.
Lower the scooter shroud over the unit and
snap the locking tabs in place behind the rear
frame bar.

NOTE: Ensure the locking tabs are behind the rear
frame bar and not in front of the frame bar.
NOTE: Ensure that the protective flap is in place
over the scooter power center. See figure 3.
To verify the scooter shroud is securely in
place, gently lift both ends of the scooter
shroud to be certain the shroud is locked in
place.
10. Reinstall the seat and seat stabilizing knob.

NOTE: If you encounter a damaged or cracked
battery, immediately enclose it in a plastic bag and
contact your local waste disposal agency or
authorized Provider for instructions on disposal
and battery recycling which is our recommended
course of action.
