1. INSERT THE BATTERY
a. SCAN: Press the measuring button,the data will
update and “SCAN” will show.
b. HOLD: Release the measuring button,the data will
freeze and “HOLD” will appear.
c. RPM: Revolutions per minute.
d. Low battery display: When the battery current is weak,
will show.
e. Main display: 5 digit LCD displays measurement
readings.
f. MAX/MIN/AVG display: Displays minimum,maximum
and average value.
g. DATA: Displays the number of data storage.
Press the scanning button to turn on the instrument.
The instrument will turn off automatically if there is no
operation in 30 seconds.
1. Attach a piece of reflective tape to the surface of the
object under test.
2. Point the meter toward the device under test.
3) Scan mode (2 options)
a. Press the scanning button and hold it, then align the
laser beam straight on the reflective tape.
b. Press the LOCK button to switch between SCAN and
HOLD function.
NOTE: when Pressing LOCK button to SCAN mode,
the scanning button on the side of device will be
useless.

SCAN
” symbol will appear on the upper right corner
of LCD when the reflective tape passes through the light
beam.
Open battery compartment and insert 4 pcs AA batteries
according to the installation symbols. Pay attention to the
polarity while inserting the battery.
It is necessary to replace new batteries, when left
corner of LCD display show “
”.
