SOAD Swingout Arm
NOTE
: Check that you have all the hardware listed on the front of the page. If any of the hardware
described is missing on your particular model do not continue, contact PREMIER MOUNTS shown
on the front cover.
1.
Separate the swing out arm from the back plate by removing the four (4) M6 x 12 (mm) Phillip
screws form the mount. Choose the location for the monitor and follow any safety and precautions
from the monitor's manufacturer.
Single Studs
1.
For single wood stud use the four (4) middle mounting points found on the back plate.
2.
Locate the center of the wood stud behind the wall, mark the height and location desired.
3.
Drill four (4) 1/8" pilot holes on the marked wall.
4.
Secure the back plate to the center of the wood stud by using four the (4) #14 wood screws
(supplied).
5.
All electrical wiring should be done at this time.
Solid Structure
1.
Use the four (4) corner mounting points on the back plate.
2.
Choose the wall where the monitor will be located.
3.
Level and mark with a pencil the four (4) mounting points found on the back plate.
4.
Use a 5/16" drill bit to drill the access holes for the wedge anchors.
5.
Insert the wedge anchors through the back plate into the access holes drilled in the wall.
6.
Tighten the nut in front of the wedge anchor (wedge anchor will expand when nut is tightened) to
secure the back plate.
7.
Locate the mounting points on the back of the monitor to confirm that is VESA standard 75 or 100.
VESA 75: Use the front plate that comes with the mount.
VESA 100: Use the plate that comes in the box to make the mount a VESA 100. Attach the VESA
100 plate and secure it to the VESA 75 plate by using the four (4) M4 x 10 Phillip screws (supplied).
8.
Invert the monitor and place it on a soft, flat surface.
9.
Secure the arm (fully collapsed position) to the back of the monitor by using the four (4) M4 x 10
(mm) Phillip screws (supplied).
10.
Raise the monitor with the arm attached and insert the SOAD plate to the secured back plate and
secure one (1) of the M6 x 12 (mm) Phillip screws to the top of the back plate, then secure the
remaining (3) M6 x 12 (mm) Phillip screws (supplied).
CAUTION
: Do not over tighten the M4 screws to the monitor.
