5  SYSTEM START­UP

 

 

After connecting the PHMDVR-X3 to a vehicle power supply, turn on the vehicle ignition and the unit will 

automatically start recording. Power is normally supplied to the PHMDVR-X3 as long as the vehicle 

ignition is ON. Live view of the cameras is available to be viewed in quad view. 

 

Note

: The system will ONLY automatically start recording if ‘GENERAL’ record mode is selected and the 

 

HDD\SD is formatted using the ‘Format’ option in the MDVR-2.
