The EH1672 has a built in condensate tank, for continuous operation the tank
can be permanently connected to the drain. To do this a drain tube may be fitted
as shown:
Firstly unscrew the drain cap and remove the bung then using a piece of 18mm
diameter tube (not supplied) connect one end to the drain

–hole and run the pipe

to a drain, making sure that it runs downhill all the way

If a permanent drain tube is not fitted the condensate tank will need to be
occasionally emptied. This should only happen very rarely, as most of the water
collected is evaporated and sent down the exhaust air tube.

EMPTY CONDENSATE TANK

To empty the water tank, switch the unit off by pressing the ON/OFF button, wait
for three minutes then disconnect from the mains supply. Place a drainage pan
underneath the drain outlet plug (at the bottom, rear of the unit in the centre).
Unscrew the cap and withdraw the bung, allow the water to drain into the
drainage pan. Replace the bung and cap then reconnect the unit to the mains
supply.

REMOTE CONTROL STORAGE COMPARTMENT

The EH1672 is supplied with a remote control storage compartment on the side
of the unit. See figure below.
