Important Safety Instructions
Before beginning any fitness program, you should
obtain a complete physical examination from your
physician.
French equivalent of the preceding paragraph, for the
Canadian market: Il est conseillé de subir un examen
médical complet avant d’entreprendre tout programme
d’exercise. Si vous avez des étourdissements ou des
faiblesses, arrêtez les exercices immédiatement.
When using exercise equipment, basic precautions
should always be taken, including the following:
•
Read all instructions before assembling the
CW-119. These instructions are written for your
safety and to protect the unit.
•
Do not allow children or those unfamiliar with its
operation on or near the equipment. Do not leave
children unsupervised around the unit.
•
Use the equipment only for its intended purpose.
Do not use accessory attachments that are not
recommended by the manufacturer, as such
attachments may cause injuries.
•
Wear proper exercise clothing and shoes for your
workout and avoid loose clothing. Do not wear
shoes with heels or leather soles. Tie long hair
back.
•
Use care when getting on or off the unit.
• Do not overexert yourself or work yourself to
exhaustion.
Use reasonable judgement when
working with weights. Avoid using excessive
weight, which may cause injury.
•
If you feel pain, faintness, dizziness, or abnormal
symptoms, stop exercising immediately and
consult your physician.
•
Before exercising, make sure that all fasteners and
cables are secure and in good working condition.
Inspect the unit for loose, frayed or worn parts,
fasteners, cables and any indications that the
equipment may be in need of service. If you notice
any of these, obtain service immediately. Refer to
Obtaining Service.
•
Do not use outdoors.
•
Do not attempt to service the CW-119 yourself.
The unit does not contain any user-serviceable
parts.
Personal Safety During
Assembly
•
Read each step in the assembly instructions and
follow the steps in sequence. Do not skip ahead. If
you skip ahead, you may learn later that you have
to disassemble components and that you may
have damaged the equipment, which would void
the Precor Limited Warranty.
•
Assemble and operate the CW-119
on a solid,
level surface. Locate the unit a few feet from walls
or furniture to provide easy access.
