Input Scaling & Math Functions
The ConsoliDator is capable of various functions for scaling the 4-20 mA inputs.
Linear
Square Root,
Programmable Exponent,
and
Integration
are two-point scaling functions.
Multi-Point
is capable of handling up to 32 scaling points and requires that the ConsoliDator
Monitor Software be used to enter these points.
Linear
Linear mode refers to basic 2-point scaling of a 4-20 mA signal in engineering units.
The graph in
Figure 17
shows the display response based on example scaling
parameters. For this mode select [Linear] from
Function
options, then follow
Sensor
Input Setup
(page 29) to enter your scaling parameters.
