After operation
After operation or during long periods when the equipment is not in use, perform the steps described below:
Make sure the compressor has vented.
Disconnect the compressor from the power supply.
Drain the condensate as described from page 22 onwards.
Venting unit manually
It may be necessary to vent the unit manually. To do so, proceed as follows:
Make sure the compressor is switched off.
To vent manually, turn the tommy screws (1) briefly counterclockwise.
The air remaining in the compressor can be heard to escape during this process.
Turn the tommy screws (1) clockwise to close again.
Venting filling strip manually
It may be necessary to vent the filling strip manually. To do so, proceed as follows:
Make sure the compressor is switched off.
To vent manually, turn the ball valve (2) counterclockwise into the vertical position.
The air remaining in the filling strip can be heard to escape during this process.
Observe the pressure gauge for filling pressure.
If the pressure gauge for filling pressure indicates 0 bar, the filling strip is vented.
Turn the ball valve (2) clockwise into the horizontal position to close again.
ATTENTION!
Condensate is a water pollutant - risk of environmental pollution.
Absorb spilled condensate with a binding agent.
Wipe up absorbed condensate with a cloth.
Dispose of the cloth in accordance with the statutory regulations in force at the site of use.
