Replacing pressure switch of Aquastar Easy and Comfort 

 
 
Safety instructions: 
 

Before opening the machine, always disconnect the power supply and check before working 
on the open machine! 
 
Operating staff are strictly prohibited from manipulating the Aquastar; any work on the 
Aquastar must be performed by trained and authorized staff. 
 
Any modifications to machines not performed by persons or companies authorized and 
trained by Praher will void your warranty as improper repairs can damage the product and 
endanger its safe operation. 
 

Caution! 

Printed circuit boards are highly sensitive components and 
can only be handled and replaced under ESD conditions. 
 

  Disconnect the power supply from the Aquastar. 

  Open the cover. 

  Make sure that the system is de-energized. 

  Remove the pressure Sensor 

  When fitting a new switch, drill a hole with a Ø of 6.4 mm in the 

groove provided for the pressure switch. 

  Mount the cable inlet into the drilled hole. Make sure that 

the inlet is mounted correct 

  Remove the power supply on the Comfort 230 and Easy 230. In 

doing so, keep hold of the main board to avoid deformation. 

  Release the four screws on the main board 

(caution, the screws are locked). 

  Tilt up the main board. 

  Unplug the old pressure switch and remove. 

  Fit cable correct into the cable inlet 

  Plug the cable correct 

  Screw in the fastening screws for the mainboard and tighten to 0.3 

Nm. 

  Place the power supply on the Comfort 230 or the Easy 230. In 

doing so, keep hold of the main board to avoid deformation and 
make sure that the pins latch into the contacts on the pin contact 
strip
