4.3. Step Status
Overview
Each Step is in one of the following Status, and the Status determines how the Step is played back.
PRACQ doesn't necessarily require you to be conscious of Step Status though, it may be useful if you
know it.
ON
OFF
MUTE
TIE
SKIP
ON/OFF Status
On Main Mode
Though there may be no need to explain about this...
1. At the beginning all
the Step Pads are
OFF Status.
2. Put a Note into a
Step by the above-
mentioned method.
HOLD
DOWN

3. This Step Pad turns
from OFF Status to
ON Status.
ON
4. Hold down this
Step Pad.
HOLD
DOWN
5. Press a lit Keyboard
Pad to remove a Note
from the Step Pad.
(or press [F4] twice
quickly.)

On Command Mode
Cut/Delete commands make a Step “OFF Status.” See chapter “3.2. Command Mode” for details.
6. This Step Pad turns
from ON Status to
OFF Status.
