UNPACKING

Refer to Figure 1

•  Check for shipping damage. Check immediately whether 

all parts and accessories are included. The bench 
buffer itself comes assembled as one unit. Additional 
parts (listed below) which need to be fastened to bench 
buffer, should be located and accounted for before 
assembling.

•  Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the 

box. 

•  Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are 

included. 

•  Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or 

damage occurred during shipping. Do not discard the 
packing material until you have carefully inspected and 
satisfactorily operated the tool.

     CAUTION

Do not attempt assembly if parts are missing. Call the 
Customer service line to obtain replacement parts.

     WARNING

Do not operate bench buffer, until completely assembled. 
Do not operate this tool until you have completely read 
and understood this manual.

     WARNING

To avoid injury, make sure all parts are assembled and 
adjusted properly before plugging the bench buffer into a 
power outlet and turning it ON. 

ASSEMBLY

TOOLS NEEDED

You will need the following tools to assemble and adjust 
the machine. (The tools are not included.)
19 mm wrench or adjustable wrench

SET UP

     WARNING

Always place the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position 
and unplug the power cord from its power source 
before performing any assembly or adjustment.

 

Failure to do so could result in accidental starting resulting 
in possible serious personal injury.

     WARNING

 

To prevent serious injury from accessory  failure. 
Do not use grinding wheels or other unintended 
accessories with this bench buffer.

1. Slide a spacer onto the rotor shaft. 
2. Slide a flange onto the rotor shaft with the flat side 

against the spacer.

3. Slide the buffing wheel onto the rotor up against the 

inner wheel flange.

4. Slide another wheel flange onto the rotor with the 

cupped surface sitting flat against the buffing wheel.

NOTE:

 "Right" and "left" are as seen from in front of the 

bench buffer, facing the switch.
5. Use the silver colored M12 nut to secure the buffing 

wheel to the right side, tighten nut securely.

  Use the brass-colored (reverse thread) M12 nut to 

secure the buffing wheel to the left side, tighten nut 
securely.

6. Apply the desired polishing compound (hard or soft, 

neither included) onto the buffing wheel(s) to be used.

7. Practice on a sample workpiece before buffing 

the actual workpiece. Good buffing results require 
experience.
