First, unplug the nailer / stapler. If a nail is jammed in the discharge area, simply remove it 
with pliers. 

 

If a nail is jammed in the magazine (5), depress the lever (10) and extend the magazine 
(5) all the way out, (Fig 2&3). Use a flat screwdriver an/or needle nose plier to free the 
brad nail or staple.
