Descaling
From time to time, boiled scale deposit will naturally form on the Stainless Steel Dish
and  Stainless  Steel  Inner  Pot,  thus  reducing  heating  efficiency.  The  frequency  of
descaling  depends  on  the  quality  of  tap  water  in  your  region  and  the  frequency  of
use of the appliance.

1.

Place the appliance on a flat, dry surface. Remove the Top Lid and disassemble
the components: Transparent Cover, Stainless Steel Dish & Stainless Steel Inner
Pot.

2.

Add a mixture containing 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water to about 80% of the
height of the Inner Pot, and put the pot onto the Heating Base.

3.

Carefully add water into the space between the Heating Base and the Inner Pot,
but do not let water overflow.

4.

Place the Stainless Steel  Dish on top of the Inner Pot and cover the Dish with
the Transparent Cover.

5.

Attach the Top Lid to the Heating Base, and secure it using the clips at the side
of the Top Lid.

6.

Attach  the  power  cable  to  the  appliance  and  then  plug  the  power  cable  into
electric  mains  and  press  the  ON/OFF  button  on  the  Control  Panel.  A  red
indicator light will illuminate the Control Panel and the heating commences.

7.

Let the liquid boil for several minutes and then press the ON/OFF button, unplug
the power  cable  from the electric  mains, followed  by  the  power  cable  from  the
appliance.

8.

Leave the mixture in the appliance overnight, and discard it the next morning.

9.

Wash the Top Lid, Transparent Cover, Stainless Steel Dish and Stainless Steel
Inner Pot several times under running water.

10.

The descaling is complete and the appliance is ready to be used.
