POLISHING MACHINE
Important

polishing machine for the fi rst time.
1. Safety directions
· Only use the polishing machine in a
clean and dry environment.
· The polishing machine should be
resting against the surface being
polished when it is switched on or off .
· Take appropriate precautions to prevent
children getting hold of the machine.
· Avoid unintentional engagement.
· Do not keep your fi nger on the switch
when moving the connected polishing
machine from one point to another.
· Unplug from the mains when changing
the buff er pad or repairing.
· Never lift or transport the polishing
machine by its power cord.
· Protect the power cord from strong
heat, oil and sharp edges.
Instruction manual
Read the instruction manual
carefully before use, and keep it for
future reference.
Voltage/frequency
Indicates the required voltage and
frequency of the power supply to
which the machine is connected.
Power rating
Indicates the machine’s maximum
power.
Speed
Indicates the machine’s speed(s)
or speed range in revolutions per
minute.
Sanding pad
Gives the dimensions of the
sanding pad.
· Always check the power cord for any
breaks before using the machine.
· Only apply heavy pressure (if required)
for short periods during polishing.
· Check housing and switch for damage.
· Do not use the polishing machine if the
housing or switch is defective.
· The A-weighted equivalent, constant
sound pressure level for the user’s ears
is below 70 dB (A).
2. Service and maintenance
1. Buff er pads should be hand-washed
only and allowed to air-dry.
2. When not in use, the polishing machine
should be stored upturned with the
buff er pad removed, to allow the
polishing disc to dry and to ensure it
retain its original shape.
3. Excessive use of wax or paste can result
in the pad coming off the polishing disc
during polishing.
4. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth for
