Cleaning and maintenance
Always keep drills and chisels clean and
sharp.
Wipe using a well-wrung cloth after use,
and always keep the surface and ventilation
holes free of dirt.
Never use corrosive or abrasive detergents,
as they may attack the plastic parts of the
machine.
The collar can become tight after while
due to dust and dirt. Lubrication will free it
again.
Check regularly that the carbon brushes are
in a good condition. If the carbon brushes
are worn down, they should be replaced.
After approx. 50 hours of use, the machine
should be lubricated. Contact the dealer or
an authorised service workshop.
Checking the lubricant level
In order to avoid damage and unnecessary
wear to the hammer drill, you must always
check the lubricant level before you use it.
Remove the cover from the lubrication hole
(5) using the spanner supplied (9).
Remove the cover and check the lubricant
level.
Top up, if necessary.
Carefully replace the cover on the
lubrication hole.
