Run/idle switch
Installation Instructions:
1.
Connect the SE900 up to the voltage regulator as shown below.
2.
Turn run/idle switch to the open position (idle)
3.
Turn the internal voltage adjustment and stability adjustment on the
voltage regulator fully counter clockwise. (10 to 25 turns or until you
hear a clicking sound).
4.
Check slip rings and brushes for good condition before starting up the
generator.
5.
Start the prime mover and bring up to design speed.
6.
Turn the run/idle switch to the closed position (run).
7.
Set up the voltage regulator as per the instructions for the regulator.
Fuse the AC1 and AC2 with a fast blow fuse rated at full load amperage
of the exciter field. Do not fuse above 100 amps! Only use fuses rated
for voltages above 240vac!
