Mechanical Speed Regulate
You can increase the rotate speed by pushing the regulate button forward. Position 2: 0-1150 RPM
You can decrease the rotate speed by pushing the regulate button backwards. Position 1: 0-400 RPM
Torque Adjustments
The tightening power of your drill/driver is adjustable to various levels of driving power. Generally the larger the
screw diameter the higher the torque power required to drive the screw until it is properly seated.
1 to 2:
For driving small screws.
3 to 4:
For driving screws into soft materials or plastics.
5 to 10:
For driving screws into soft woods.
11 to 14: For driving screws into medium/hard woods.
15 to 16: For powerfull screw driving.
For drilling metal, wood or using spade (Hole) bits.
Cautions: Always start on the lowest setting. If the correct setting has been chosen, the override clutch
opens once the screw has been turned flush into the material. When removing screws, select a higher
setting or set to drill symbol. The proper settings are best determined in practical trials.
To drill into metal: If possible, punch the drilling position first, so as to prevent drill-bit run away.
Use a suitable coolant. Suitable coolants can be obtained from shops.
The appliance’s noise output may exceed 85dB (A) at the workplace.
In this instance, wear hearing protection.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before doing any work on the machine itself, remove the battery packet from it. Clean the appliance with a moist
cloth and a little lubricating soap. Don’t use any cleaning agents or solvents these could attack the plastic parts
of the appliance. Always keep the surface of the device free from dust and dirt.

Variable Speed On and Off Switch
Set rotation direction switch to desired position.
To switch on:
Press ON/OFF switch. Rotation speed will increase
as the trigger is pressed.
To switch off:
Release ON/OFF switch.
Varying the Speed
Simply apply pressure onto the On-Off/Switch by squeezing it in, this will
increase the speed and release the pressure on the On-Off/Switch will
decrease the speed.
Forward & Reversing Switch
Set rotation direction switch either to the right for counter clockwise rotation
or to the left for clockwise rotation, When ON/OFF switch is activated, rotation
direction switch is locked.
Drilling with the lowest rotation speed for a extended period of time, increases the danger of the
overheating of the motor. Allow cooling time of approx. 15 Minutes.

Inserting Drill Bits and Screwdriver Bits
1. In order to insert a drill bit/screwdriver bit, grasp the back section
of the chuck and rotate the front section of the chuck until the
drill/bit holder is fitted.
2. Insert the tool as far as it will go into the drill chuck opening.
3. Clamp in the screwdriver bits using the bit-holder, which is part of
the range of accessories.
4. Select screwdriver bits appropriate to the screw head in order to
avoid damage to screw heads.
5. Firmly tighten the chuck by hand. Check whether the tool is firmly
seated in the drill chuck.

WARNING: BEFORE USE CHECK THE DIRECTION OF THE ROTATION. ONLY CHANGE THE
DIRECTION OF ROTATION WHEN THE TOOL IS NOT IN OPERATION.
Battery Pack
Carefully insert the battery packet into the charging base. Pay attention to the correct direction and do not
insert the battery packet the wrong way round.
1. Insert the power plug of the device into a standard power outlet.
(up to 120V)
The red light will come on indicating charging in progress.
2. When the green indicator lights up, the battery packet has been
recharged. For normal charging this process takes 1-1.5 hours.
Unplug the charger and the battery packet can then be taken out of
the base and can be used immediately.

4. Battery Packet
Caution:
• The battery packet must be charged before you first use your machine.
The battery packet only reaches its full capacity after several charges.
• Avoid repeated consecutive rapid charges of the battery. Do not recharge after using only briefly. (15 min. or less)
• The battery packet and the power supply unit warm up during the charge process. This is not a malfunction.
