ASSEMBLY
WARNING! The mower blade reel is sharp and may rotate unexpectedly if the mower is moved. Keep
hands and other body parts away from the blades to avoid amputation or injury. Keep the mower
stationary and secure against movement when handling the blade reel.
When this manual refers to a part number, it refers to the included Parts List.
1. Fasten the handle together by inserting the middle handle into the upper
handle. Insert bolts through holes in handles and screw the knobs onto
the bolts until hand tight.
2. Position the middle handle ends so they are on the outside of the lower
handle. Insert bolts and tighten knobs as in the above step.
3. Attach the assembled handle to the mower (A) by inserting one side
on the handle peg (B) and then squeezing the other side to slide
the handle on to the opposite peg.
4. Attach the hooks on the bag to the back bar. The strap wraps around the middle handle support.
ADJUSTING CUTTING HEIGHT
Adjust the mowing height by moving the adjusters on each side of the small wheels. The blade reel’s
height from the ground will increase, the further back the adjusters are set.
ADJUST MOWER BLADE REEL
The mower is preset before leaving the factory, but the blade reel may require
adjustments after use.
1. The mower blade adjustment is underneath. Detach the grass catcher
and flip the mower. Keep hands away from the blade reel.
2. Slowly adjust the two bolts (C) with an Allen wrench. Very little
adjustment is needed (1/16th of an inch).
OPERATION
The blade reel will rotate as the mower is pushed forward. Attach the grass catcher to collect the
grass clippings.
