MEASURING DECIBEL
Decibel is measured in the same way as the AC voltage, but the
dB
scale is
read instead.
1.
Set the Range Selection Switch to one of the choices in AC voltage.
2.
Connect the test probe tips across the circuit.
3.
Use the AC Voltage Accuracy chart to determine the
AC voltage measurement.
NOTE:
When measuring a signal that contains a direct current, a 0.1 µF block
capacitor with a voltage endurance of more than 250V should be connected
in series.
