8  Decommissioning

8.1 

Decommissioning procedure

Caution

Only qualified persons are authorised to work on the appliance 

and system to decommission.

If your boiler needs to be decommissioned either temporarily or perma­

nently the following should be performed:

1. Switch off the boiler’s electrical connection.

2. Close the gas isolation tap.

3. Drain the central heating system.

Seek the advice of your installer.
