BLADE BRAKE

(Model 447 only)

Model 447 is equipped with an electric blade brake that energizes
automatically whenever the trigger switch is released.

REMOVING THE BLADE

1.

DISCONNECT TOOL FROM POWER SOURCE.

2.

Push in blade lock (A) Fig. 1,

and rotate blade by hand until
lock engages blade arbor.

AVOID

CONTACT WITH BLADE
TEETH TO PREVENT
PERSONAL INJURY.

3.

While holding blade lock

engaged, use wrench provided
(B) Fig. 1, and loosen blade
retaining bolt by rotating
counterclockwise.
