Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
10 Install the transverse
connection of the sections
(A−pillar support) −A, B− at
the front
Press the adjusting element −2− screwed into the transverse
connection into the groove −Z− of the section (A−pillar support)
−A−
. At the same time, install the retainer plate −4− and screw
into place with the fastening screws −3− .
Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Adjusting the roll−over bar
The foam coating of the A−pillar support sections must be pressed against the cowl panel frame trim.
1. Unscrew the adjusting element −2− in the direction of the arrow −Y− until the foam coating −3− of the
A−pillar support sections on the left and right −A, B− are pressed against the cowl panel frame trim.
2. Screw the lock nut −1− in the direction of the arrow −X− as far as it will go against the adjusting element
−2− and lock it against the adjusting element −2− .
