Installation and connection


Install the transformer at a minimum safety distance of 2 m.
– The transformer and plug connection are not water-tight. Ensure that they are never placed in water.
• Position the PondoFall LED so that it does not pose a danger to anyone. Ensure that the position is stable.
• Connect the stepped hose adapter with the seal to the desired inlet. Close the other inlet with the blind cap. Connect
the hose for the water supply and secure it with a hose clip.
– Stepped hose adapter suitable for 19 mm or 25 mm hose diameter. Shorten as required.
Commissioning/start-up
N O T E
The unit will be destroyed if it is operated with a dimmer. It contains sensitive electrical components.
• Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
• Switching on: Insert the power plug into the socket.
– The unit switches on immediately.
• Switching off: Disconnect the power plug.
Remedy of faults

Insufficient flow Hose blocked Check and clean or replace hose
Hose kinked Straighten hose and replace, if damaged
Pump clogged Check and clean pump
Pump is not fully submerged in water Set up pump so that it is fully submerged
Waterfall or rivulet is clogged Clean waterfall or rivulet
High friction loss Use shorter hose to reduce friction
LED not lit Power supply interrupted Check power supply
Bulb defective Dispose of the unit

Maintenance and cleaning

Do not use chemical cleaning agents. These are hazardous to animals, plants and the environment.
• Clean using clear water and a soft brush only.
• If necessary, clean with clear water using a soft brush.
Disposal
N O T E
Do not dispose of this unit with domestic waste.
• Render the unit unusable beforehand by cutting the cables and dispose of the unit via the return system
provided for this purpose.
