DISMANTLING / MAINTENANCE / COPPER REPLACEMENT
Always switch off the power supply during maintenance/dismantling of the device.
1. Unscrew the three-part couplings (F) and drain the water from the unit.
2. Using a screwdriver, click the black fastening clip (H) from the screw ring (E) (see drawing 2).
3. To replace the copper unit (A) (see drawings 4, 5), unscrew the protective cover (R) from the
connector strip (S) using a screwdriver, and disconnect the wiring from the connector strip.
4. Then unscrew the screw ring (E) on the bottom of the device. Carefully remove the copper unit
using a large, flat screwdriver (see drawing 3). Never use force! Then place a new copper unit
in the device and connect the wiring again via the connector strip (see drawings 4, 5). Ensure
that the colours of the cables correspond with each other: Blue with blue, brown with brown. To
finalise, tighten the screws of the connector strip. Replace the protective cover over the connector
strip. Check that the black outer casings of both pieces of cable are inserted far enough into the
connector, and screw the lid down.
5. The electrical unit of the device is located in the display box (B). This display box is glued and
cannot be opened. In case of any doubt with regard to the connection, consult a recognised fitter.
IN THE WINTER
• Protect the Copper Electrolyzer from frost.
• Remove the water out of the pipes before the frost season sets in.
