If you’ve purchased a single Honey Hole Nursery, we have already assembled it for you.
All you have to do is attach the marker float to the top of it using the included rope, and
place it in the water!
We do our best to cut the mesh as close as possible to the ends, but there are still some
slightly sharp edges that could cause scratching to the hands. Gloves are recommended while
assembling the Honey Hole Nurseries.
1. First, pull the bodies apart. The Grass limbs are already attached to each of the bodies.
2. Second, there are two tops included. Since the units are nested, one is slightly smaller
than the other, so each top has a designated body. The tops and bodies are marked with
colored stickers. Match up the colors and set the correct top on the correct body, aligning
the sticker on the body with the sticker on the top.
3. Holding the top a couple of inches above the body of one of the Nurseries, reach in and
“fluff” the limbs/leaves of the Grass stems to your liking, pulling the leaves through the
holes in the top.
4. When you have the leaves where you want them, place the top on the body. Secure the
top to the sides by positioning the zip ties in line with the hog rings at the bottom.
5. Continue attaching the rest of the top by attaching 1 zip tie in line with each hog ring at
the bottom. You’ll use 20 zip ties per Nursery. If you wish, clip to remove the long ends of
the zip ties and discard.
6. Finish by attaching the marker float to the center of the top using rope - cut to the desired
length for the water depth.
7. Repeat steps 3 through 7 for the second Nursery.
The Honey Hole Nursery is best utilized
in 2-3’ of water. We suggest you place these
structures away from regular fishing areas and use the marker float and rope that are
included to mark these structures so you don’t snag your lures!
