Introduction
The electrical / optical converter OPM-CON converts the incoming SAT
frequencies in the 950-5450 MHz range into optical signals with a wavelength of
1310 nm. DVB-T, DAB and FM can also be fed into the optical distribution network
via the terrestrial input.
The OPM-CON has two independent optical outputs with 7 dBm power each.

This guide assumes that:

the mounting and safety instructions are observed and implemented.

the installation is carried out by authorized personnel.

the protective caps of the FC/PC plugs or sockets are removed just before
final assembly.

all optical FC/PC connections are cleaned and free of any dust.

the connector front-
side doesn’t get in contact with the skin after cleaning
procedure.
Mounting
Ensure that the converter is mounted on a suitable ground with enough space for
the required connections.
FC/PC bayonet lock
The optical FC/PC connector is equipped with a bayonet connector and a twist-
lock.
The "tongue" of the plug must be inserted into the groove of the socket.
Then the plug can be screwed on.
