• Remove the cap from the filter (fig. 8C).
• Rinse all components in running water and elimi-

nate any lime scale residues.

• Reassemble all components in reverse order

from that described above, being sure to screw
the cap onto the bottom of the tank properly so
that the tank cannot leak water.

NOTE:

Use the cap off the top of the tank (

F

) only

when filling the tank with water, not the cap from the
bottom of the tank, which is for maintenance purpo-
ses only.

CLEANING THE STEAM PIPES

If the appliance does not seem to be working pro-
perly or generates less steam, you need to clean
the steam pipes. 

AUTOMATIC CLEANING

• Connect up the appliance as described in the

section on “PREPARATION”.

• Leave the ON/OFF switch (

B

) in the OFF posi-

tion.

• Hold down the ”turbo steam” button (

C

). After 5

seconds the appliance will automatically go into
“automatic cleaning” mode. Hold down the but-
ton (

C

) for at least 1 minute. Release the button

to finish cleaning (

C

).

WARNING:

during this operation the appliance will

generate steam mixed with water, so you should
not perform this operation on a delicate surface
which may be damaged.

MANUAL CLEANING

WARNING: 

MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT

IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUP-
PLY.

You may clean the steam ducts on the appliance
and its accessories with the nozzle cleaning pin (

)

as shown in figure 9.

STORING THE APPLIANCE.

• When turned off, always store Vaporetto Turbo

Mop with the brush assembled on it on the sto-
rage mat (

).

- Check that the cable is correctly plugged into a suitable mains socket.
- Ensure that there is water in the tank (G).
- Ensure that the tank is correctly inserted.

The product releases
too much water onto
the floor

- Check that the tank (G) is assembled correctly.
- Check that the turbo button is not being pressed continuously (C).
- Ensure that the steam output tubes are not clogged.
