• Put back the sealing cap of the self-filling tank

fore. Be sure to place it correctly.

• Pull the lid of the accessory compartment (

upwards as shown in Fig. 2 so that it comes un-
hooked.

• Lift the water container (

) and remove it from

its compartment by the container handle (

pushing the flap of the built-in socket (

) to one

side as shown in Fig. 3.

• Press the lever for opening the handle of the wa-

ter container (

) and pull (Fig. 4).

• Remove the “EcoActiveFilter” water filter assem-

bly (

) (Fig. 5), and fill the container (

) with

about 1 litre of normal tap water.

• Put the filter assembly (

) back into place in

the water container (

) returning it to its initial

position. Close the handle of the container (

)

making sure that it is correctly positioned.

• Replace the water container back into position,

making sure that the tube through which air
passes on the EcoActive Filter water-based filter
assembly coincides with the fitting on the appli-
ance.

• Put the lid of the accessory compartment (

)

back into place, making sure that the two levers
on the lid match the two clasps on the appliance
and then turning it until it hooks into place.

• Open the flap of the built-in socket (

); fit the

monobloc plug (

) by pushing it, without press-

ing the button, until you hear the click of the
locking mechanism, then make sure it is well
locked (fig. 6).

• To disconnect the monobloc plug (

B2

) from the

appliance, push the button (

B3

) and pull the

monobloc so as to separate it from the appli-
ance.

• Plug the cable into a suitable power outlet.

Operation Steam + Vacuuming

• Press the main switch (

) below the control pan-

el. The first level of suction indicators (

) will

start to flash.

• Press the boiler ON switch (

). The boiler ON

lamp (

) will light up.

• Wait for the pressure indicator lamp (

) to light

up. When it does the Vaporetto Lecoaspira will
be ready to generate steam.

You can supply steam by pressing the steam button
(

) on the handle. At the same time you can also

control suction by pressing the suction button (

).

• To start suction it is possible to use either the

ON push-button (

) on the control panel or the

suction button (

A4

) on the handle (

).

Note: 

The handle (

A2

) has a safety button (

) that

prevents accidental activation of the delivery of
steam by children or persons who are unaware of
how the appliance works. If the appliance is left
temporarily unattended while it is in an activated
condition, please remember to place the safety but-
ton (

) in the locked position. To resume delivery,

return the button to its initial position.

Operation with suction only

For correct use of the suction function read the
section “Suction/OFF control”.
• If you wish to use the suction function only,

press the main switch (

) located below the con-

trol panel. The first level of the suction UP indi-
cators (

) will start to flash.

• You may activate the suction function either by

using the ON push-button (

) on the control pan-

el or by means of the suction button (

) locat-

ed on the handle (

).

• From the control panel:

Press the ON push-

) and hold it down for a few seconds.

The suction fan will start to run at the lowest
speed, and the first stage of the suction UP indi-
cator lamp (

) will stop flashing and remain

steadily lit. 

• From the handle:

press the push-button (

on the handle (

). The suction fan will start to

run at the lowest speed, and the first stage of
the indicator lamp (

) will stop flashing and re-

main steadily lit. 

Operation with steam only

• Press the main switch (

trol panel. The first level of the suction UP indi-

) will start to flash.

• Press the boiler ON switch (
