• Unscrew the screw (

C

) from the appliance (

A

),

using an appropriate screwdriver. Connect the
appliance (

A)

to the brush (

10

) and tighten the

screw (

C

) (Fig. 2).

• Remove the water tank (

5

) from the appliance

pulling it upward (Fig. 3). Unscrew the cap with
the water take-up hose and remove it from the
tank (Fig. 4).

• Fill the tank with water using the jug supplied

(Fig. 5). Water by its nature contains limescale
which, as time goes by, can cause problems. To
protect your appliance, use demineralised water.
Do not add other substances or additives to the
tank.

• Screw the cap with the water take-up hose back

on the tank and hook it back on the appliance
(Fig. 6).

• Position the cloth (

11

) under the brush (Fig. 7)

and fasten it by pulling the cord (Fig. 8).

USE

• Plug the power lead (

4

) into a suitable socket

with an earth connection. The power indicator
light will come on (

8

).

• The power indicator light (

8

) will remain on con-

stantly indicating that the appliance is connected
to the mains.

• Wait for the pressure indicator lamp (

9

) to come

on. At this point the appliance is ready for use.

• To release the brush (

10

) from the appliance, put

your foot on the brush (

10

) and at the same time

tilt the handle (

1

) (Fig. 10). To block it again, just

return it to the original position (Fig. 10).

• Press the steam button (

2

) to dispense steam. To

stop it, release the steam button (

2

).

• Clean the floors by moving the brush forward and

backward.

• To clean rugs and carpets, rest the brush (with

the cloth attached) on the special frame (

12

) so

that it can slide on the surface (Fig. 9).

NOTE:

the steam ready light (

9

) turns on and off

during use. This indicates that the electric resistan-
ce is operating to keep temperature constant and is
therefore quite normal.

Warning:
- To remove the cloth from the brush, detach

the power supply plug from the electric
socket and wait a few minutes to allow the
cloth to cool.

NO WATER

When the water inside the tank (

5

) runs out, steam

will stop being emitted and a considerable increase
in noise will be heard. In any case, the water level
is always visible thanks to the transparent tank.
To restart operations just fill the water tank (

5

)

again as described in the paragraph “PREPARA-
TION”.

Warning: This operation must always be done
by disconnecting the appliance from the mains.

LIMESCALE FILTER

By nature, water contains mineral salts that favour
the formation of scale.
Vaporetto Action is supplied with a limescale filter
(

7

) which reduces the passage of mineral salts and

therefore the formation of limescale.

Always use demineralised water.

We recommend that the filter be changed 2 times
per year.

To replace the filter, proceed as follows:
• Unplug from the mains electricity.
• Remove the water tank (

5

) (Fig. 3) pulling it

upward, then remove the filter (

7

), still pulling

upward (Fig. 13).

• Position the new filter (

7

), push gently and make

sure that it is perfectly inserted (Fig. 13), then re-
position the water tank (Fig. 6).

Inside the package there is a spare filter (

7

), in addi-

tion to the one already mounted on the appliance.

STORING THE DEVICE

After use, proceed as follows before putting the
appliance away:
- unplug the power supply from the mains.
- completely empty the water tank

(5)

to avoid

water leaks

- detach the cloth from the brush, waiting a few

minutes to allow it to cool.

- wind the power supply cable around the special

cable rewinds (

3

) and (

6

) before replacing the

appliance.

Warning:
- Before using the appliance again, remember

to unwind the power cable completely.

- Do not keep the appliance connected to the

power supply with the cable wound up.
