PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The command display (5) is
off.
Power cable not plugged in
Main switch (2) off
Plug power cable into a suitable ou-
tlet.
Turn on main switch (2).
The appliance is on but it is not
producing steam
Water tank (3) is empty or not in-
serted correctly.
The on/stand-by indicator light
(5d) is flashing
Fill the water tank (3).
Make sure the water tank is inserted
correctly.
The appliance is on stand-by; turn it
on by touching the boiler on sensor
(5a).
The low water level indicator
(5f) stays on and an acoustic si-
gnal sounds No water in boiler Try turning the appliance off and tur-
ning it back on again with the main
switch (2). If the problem persists,
contact an authorised service centre.
The Add Kalstop indicator light
(5g) stays on. You need to add Kalstop
The auto-Kalstop function has not
been reset
Add Kalstop
Reset the function.
In both cases follow the instructions in
the “AUTO-KALSTOP FUNCTION”
section.
