• Always unplug the appliance before per-

forming any maintenance operation.

• Wipe the outside of the appliance with a

damp cloth. Do not use solvents or clean-
ing products as they could damage the
plastic surface.

• At least once every 2 or 3 days, use the

empty capsules provided in the pack to
clean the infusion parts.
Clean the appliance using the same proce-
dure as you use to make coffee, dispens-
ing the same amount of water as is con-
tained in an espresso cup.

RECOMMENDATION:

Place a recipient

where coffee is normally dispensed to collect
the water.

• Periodically remove the drip tray (

13

) and

empty and clean it. Proceed as described
below to clean the steam/water dispenser
(

15

):

•  Pull the plastic part of the steam dispenser

down until it comes off (fig.4). Clean it, re-
moving residues of the beverage you have
just heated.

•  Take a tall, narrow recipient with a little wa-

ter in it and immerse the steam/water dis-
penser (

15

) in the water.

•  Dispense water as described in the section

on “heating water” for about 5 seconds in
order to clean the appliance’s internal cir-
cuit.

•  Check that the hole on the top part of the

dispenser and the hole from which water or
steam comes out is not obstructed. If it is
obstructed, remove the obstruction with a
needle.

CAUTION:

Be very careful when cleaning

the steam/water dispenser as parts of the
dispenser may be hot.
