mediately, removing dirt thanks to the con-
centrated steam jet.
9. CLEANING FURNITURE AND DE-
LICATE SURFACES
9.1 Connect the suction lance (M) or the
steam + suction nozzle (G) to the handle and
press the suction button on the appliance
(see Chapter 2).
9.2 Turn on the boiler by pressing the boiler
button (29) and adjust the strength of the
steam using the steam adjustment dial (31)(to
turn the boiler off press the boiler button again
(29)); for this type of surface we recommend
steam level 1/2. The steam indicator light (
)
comes on, and then turns off when the correct
temperature has been reached (33).
Press and hold the steam trigger on the hand-
le and direct the jet onto a cloth.
9.3 Use the cloth previously steamed to clean
the surface, avoiding prolonged use on the
same spot.
10. OTHER GENERAL USES
10.1 BRIGHTENING UP CURTAINS AND DRA-
PES
Mites and dust can be removed from curtains
and drapes by steaming the fabric with just
the handle. The steam is able to remove
odours and brighten up colours, allowing the
fabric to be washed less frequently.
For this surface, set the steam to level 1/2.
10.2 REMOVING STAINS FROM CARPETS
AND UPHOLSTERY
Connect the steam concentrator accessory
(D) without the nylon brush (27); direct the
steam directly onto the stain with the greate-
st angle possible (never vertically with re-
spect to the surface to be cleaned) and place
a cloth beyond the stain to collect the dirt
that has been “blown” away by the steam
pressure.
For this surface, set the steam to level 1/2.
Connect the suction lance (M) to the steam
concentrator accessory (D) and activate the
suction function to begin vacuuming the dirt
removed which has remained on the rug.
10.3 TAKING CARE OF PLANTS AND HUMI-
DIFYING ROOMS
To take care of your house plants, remove the
dust from the leaves by steaming their surfa-
ce using just the handle: adjust the steam to
level 1/2 and spray at a minimum distance of
50 cm. Plants breathe better and will be clea-
ner and brighter. Furthermore, you can also
use the steam to refresh spaces, especially
those frequented by smokers.
11. STEAM ADJUSTMENT
You can optimise the steam flow by means of
the steam adjustment knob. To increase the
flow, turn the knob clockwise (31). Turning
anti-clockwise reduces the flow. Here are so-
me tips for regulating it:
• Maximum level (4/5): to remove encrusta-
tion, stains, grease and to sanitise;
• Medium level (3): for carpets, rugs, glass
and floors;
• Minimum level (1/2): to steam plants, clean
delicate fabrics, wall coverings, sofas, etc.
12. OUT OF WATER
A lack of water in the boiler is identified by
the light coming on (tap)(34).
To continue with use, proceed as follows:
• Switch off the OFF/boiler switch (29).
• Unplug from the mains electricity.
• Wait at least 10 minutes and remove the
safety cap, unscrewing it without force
(10).
WARNING: Before cleaning the surface,
always do a test on a hidden part and see
how it reacts to the application of steam.
WARNING: Steam.
Risk of scalding!
To vacuum surfaces it is not necessary to fill
the boiler, simply turn the boiler off.
The different coloured brushes allow for a
different colour for each surface or environ-
ment.
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet direc-
tly onto surfaces.
Before cleaning the surface, always do a test
on a hidden part and see how it reacts to the
application of steam.
WARNING: Never fill the boiler as soon as the
safety cap is opened. The boiler is still hot,
even if the appliance is unplugged. On con-
tact with the hot, empty boiler, cold water
will evaporate producing a spray of steam
which could cause burns. Only fill the boiler
when it is cold and always keep your face
away from the boiler opening when filling.
WARNING: Steam.
Risk of scalding!
