RECORDING WITH THE PCR-65
1.
Turn the speaker volume down, and use an XLR cable to connect the microphone to a preamplifier, mixing
board, or recorder.
Note
:
Recording directly into a computer requires an XLR-to-USB adapter such as the Polsen XLR-USB-48.

Turn the phantom power on.
3.
Turn the speaker volume up, and set the input level on the recording device.
For the best recording results, the microphone should point directly at the sound source.
Vocalists and instrumentalists should be positioned approximately 6 to 12 inches from the microphone. For close
vocal miking, use a foam windscreen or pop filter (not included) to prevent vocal pops or plosives.
