Towbar
The car can be fitted with a towbar that makes it
possible to tow a trailer, for example, after the
car.
There may be different towbar variants for the
car, contact Polestar Support for more informa-
tion.

IMPORTANT
• When the car is switched off, the con-
stant battery voltage to the trailer con-
tact can be switched off automatically
so as not to discharge the 12V battery.
• The towball needs to be cleaned regu-
larly and lubricated with grease to pre-
vent wear.
NOTE
• The towball must not be lubricated
when using a towball hitch with a vibra-
tion damper.
This is also applicable when fitting a
bicycle rack that is clamped into posi-
tion around the towball.
• If the car is equipped with a towbar,
there is no rear mounting for a towing
eye.
