Product overview
Cable length 2 m

Solar module with ground spike
Installation
The panel-mounted lights can be used, for example, in wooden partitions or on stair risers.
To do so, it is necessary to prepare the necessary openings (Ø 26 mm). Therefore plan the
installation location carefully. Bear in mind the cable lengths and the future position of the solar
panel for optimum sunlight.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when
drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
• Drill 6 holes (Ø 26 mm) for installation of the panel-mounted lights. When drilling the holes,
make sure they are not too far apart from one another to ensure that the cable lengths
between the lights are sufficient.
• Disconnect the cables. Screw the cap nuts counter-clockwise to loosen the connections.
Then pull the plugs from the sockets.
•
When inserting the lights, first insert the cables into the openings. After the lights are inserted,
reconnect the cables. Insert the plugs into the sockets and then turn the cap nuts clockwise.
• Insert the ground spike into the holder on the solar module. Stick the ground spike into the
ground at the desired location. Make sure that the solar module receives enough sunlight
during the day. The angle of the solar module can be adjusted to receive the most amount
of sunlight possible.
Operation
Before using for the first time, remove the protective film from the solar panel. There are
3 rechargeable batteries in the solar module. Fully charge the batteries. The charging time is
approx. 8 hours in direct sunlight.
• Set the on/off switch to ON to charge the battery during the day with sunlight. If the on/off
switch is turned off, the rechargeable batteries do not charge.
• The more sunlight that falls onto the solar module, the more complete the battery charge
will be. To allow the batteries to be charged sufficiently, the solar module must be placed so
that it is exposed to direct sunlight for as long as possible. Ensure that the solar panel is not
covered or shaded.
• Do not place the solar module next to other light sources, e.g. patio or street lights, as this
may prevent it from turning on automatically in the dark.
• The product is suitable for use in unprotected outdoor areas. However, the product must
never be used in or under water.
•
The product automatically turns on at dusk (approx. 50 - 200 lux). As soon as a certain
brightness is reached (approx. 150 - 300 lux), the product turns off.
• If the light should not turn on automatically, set the on/off switch to OFF.
Note that the product must be turned on to allow the batteries to charge with sunlight
during the day.
