Wheel Removal
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. Place the transmission in
gear. Lock the parking brake.
2. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
WARNING!
Do not service axle nuts that have a cotter pin installed. See your
Polaris dealer.
3. Place a suitable stand under the
footrest frame to raise the wheel
slightly off the ground.
4. Remove the wheel nuts.
5. Remove the wheel.
Wheel Installation
1. Place the wheel on the wheel hub
with the valve stem toward the
outside and the rotation arrows on
the tire pointing toward forward
rotation.
2. Install the wheel nuts finger tight.
On vehicles with tapered rear
wheel nuts, make sure the tapered
ends of the nuts fit into the tapers
on the wheels.
3. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
4. Torque the wheel nuts to
specification (page 73).
WARNING!
Loose nuts could cause a tire to come off during operation, which
could result in an accident or overturn. Always ensure that all nuts are torqued to
specification.
