NOTE
Shifting gears with the engine speed above idle or while the vehicle is moving
could cause transmission damage.
Whenever the ATV is left unattended, always place the transmission in PARK
and lock the parking brake.
BELT LIFE
To extend belt life, use low forward gear when pulling a heavy load at less than
seven miles per hour for extended periods and when operating uphill at a slow
speed.
FUEL CAP
This vehicle is equipped with a digital
fuel gauge that will indicate a low fuel
condition. Refuel when the gauge
indicates a low fuel condition.
Always refuel with the engine stopped,
and outdoors or in a well ventilated
area. Refuel on a level surface.
Remove the fuel tank cap to add fuel
to the fuel tank. Use either leaded or
unleaded gasoline with a minimum
pump octane number of 87 = (R + M/2)
octane. Do not use fuel with ethanol
content greater than 10 percent, such
as E-85 fuel.
PASSENGER SEAT BACKREST (TOURING)
The passenger backrest can be adjusted vertically.
1. Unzip the two zippers at the bottom
of the backrest pad. Lift the pad
upward to remove it from the

2. To adjust the backrest upward or

adjustment screws on the front side
of the backrest frame. Slide the
backrest upward or downward to
the desired position and tighten the
