STEP 3: DOCKING YOUR SOUNDSHIELD
WIRELESS HEADSET
Dock the headset, as illustrated. When the headset is
docked correctly the headset battery will begin
charging.
Note:
Remember to keep the headset docked while
connecting the Soundshield Wireless headset,
and when not in use.
STEP 2: CONNECTING YOUR SOUNDSHIELD
WIRELESS TO MAINS POWER
1. Plug the supplied power adapter into the Power
port on the Soundshield Wireless base.
2. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a
mains power socket and turn on the power point.
STEP 1: SETTING UP YOUR HEADSET
Option 2: Attaching the Earhook
1. Align the headset and the earhook attachment, as
illustrated, and insert the earhook into the earhook
slot.
2. Slide the headset over the top of your ear.

Option 2: Connecting your Soundshield Wireless to a
desk-phone without a headset port
If your desk-phone does not include a dedicated
headset port, complete the following:
1. On the desk-phone, unplug the handset cable from
the telephone.
2. Connect the handset cable to the Handset port on
the Soundshield Wireless base.
3. Plug the supplied tail cord into the Phone port on
the Soundshield Wireless base.
4. Connect the other end of the tail cord into the
Handset port on the desk-phone.
STEP 4
Option 1: Connecting your Soundshield Wireless to a
desk-phone with a dedicated headset port
If your desk-phone includes a dedicated headset port,
complete the following:
1. Plug the supplied tail cord into the Phone port on
the Soundshield Wireless base.
2. Connect the other end of the tail cord to the
Headset port on the desk-phone.
