Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Clean the inside and outside of the appliance using a soft cloth and clean soapy water

Wipe the appliance dry with a dry, soft cloth.
•
NB: ensure that the appliance is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.

Defrost
This appliance must be defrosted manually.
Turn off the appliance and unplug from power supply.

Leave door open until ice and frost dissolve

Check there is not a power failure

Check the drain pan is hosed correctly
There is the sound of
water flowing
This is refrigerant circulating through the cooling system – it does not indicate that there is a fault
The side panel of the appliance is
heating up
The side will heat up if the door is frequently opened or closed, when switching on the freezer and
when it is working during the summer (and there are high ambient temperatures). It does not
indicate a fault
The front of the cabinet is heating up
To prevent condensation, there is an anti-condensation pipe which heats up the front of the
cabinet. It does not indicate a fault
