BASE STATION - PUSHBUTTON OPERATION
No settings are required for typical operation. However, three functions are possible, if desired.
CHANNEL and MAN/SCAN PUSHBUTTON:
To select Channels 1, 2, or 3, momentarily depress the pushbutton multiple times.
Please note:
This Base Station is capable of receiving and displaying three different remote devices. One on each Channel.
This package contains only one remote device (Floating Thermometer).
Therefore only one Channel will display the Floating Thermometer temperature on the Base Station.
The two unused Channels will display ‘ cc.c ‘.
The Channel number of the Floating Thermometer appears on its LCD display.
Please select that same Channel on the Base Station.
MAX/MIN and RESET PUSHBUTTON:
Push the button once to display the maximum recorded temperature.
Push the button a second time to display the minimum recorded temperature.
Push button a third time to return to the current temperature.
While the display shows “MAX” or “MIN”, push and hold button for 3 seconds to RESET the recorded temperature.
The display will return to current temperatures after 5 seconds of not pushing the button.
CHANGE BASE STATION TEMPERATURE DISPLAY (°F/°C)
Default display upon battery insertion is °C.
To change °F/°C:
-
Simultaneously push-and-hold both pushbuttons until the LCD display changes to flashing F or C, then release.

Momentarily push the MAX/MIN pushbutton multiple times until the display shows desired selection.

Momentarily push the CHANNEL pushbutton to return to normal display.
FLOATING THERMOMETER SETTINGS
No settings are required for typical operation. However, there are two settings possible, if desired.
Floating Thermometer settings are only accessible with the device opened.
CHANGE FLOATING THERMOMETER TEMPERATURE DISPLAY (°F/°C)
Default display on battery insertion is °C.
To change °F/°C:
-
The black C/F pushbutton is located inside the top-half of the floating thermometer.

Momentarily push the C/F pushbutton multiple times until the display shows desired selection.
CHANGE CHANNEL 1-2-3 SELECTION
The Floating Thermometer is shipped in Channel 1 position.
To change Channel Selection to 1, 2 or 3:

The slide switch is located inside the top-half of the floating thermometer.

Remove the batteries from the Floating thermometer and base station.

Move the slide switch to the desired position.

Then, you MUST follow the FIRST STEP through FOURTH STEP, above, to re-synchronize the floating
Thermometer to the Base Station.
