Putting on the X-Heart Vest
Before
putting
the
vest
on,
make
sure
the
patient
is
wearing
appropriate
clothing.
Layered,
bulky,
loose
fi
tting
and
slick
clothing
will
tend
to
allow
the
vest
to
ride
up.
For
ease
of
use,
attach
the
vest
to
the
unweighting
system.
►
If
using
a
PneuWeight,
pull
cable
assembly
out
to
approximately
the
right
position
for
the
person
being
unweighted.
►
If
using
the
PneuWalker,
clip
to
the
desired
patient
ports
on
the
Lift
Arm.
Have
the
patient
back
into
the
vest.
Put
their
right
arm
through
the
right
side
of
the
vest
and
the
left
arm
through
the
left
side
of
the
vest.
