In order to use your haul system, simply remove it from the storage
bag, extend the system to the desired length, clip the carabiner on each
end to the anchor and the load respectively, and pull on the haul line.
It’s that easy!
To use the haul system in the 4:1 mechanical advantage configuration,
the Advance Tech HX pulley with the progress capture is attached
to the anchor and the Advance Tech mate (no progress capture) is
attached to the load. Just reverse the ends (flip end to end) to use the
system in a 5:1 mechanical advantage configuration. (See diagrams on
the right.)
The progress capture cam will capture the progress as the load is
raised, allowing for easily moving one’s hands for the next pull on the
haul line. The cam can be parked to allow the system to run freely
without using the progress capture feature. It can also be released by
pulling on the attached lanyard. See the Advance HX pulley instructions
for details of these features.

INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE

this kit for retirement criteria for each component. Should the system
not operate smoothly for any reason or if there are any indications
of abnormal wear, refer to the individual component instructions
for guidance on performing a detailed inspection to determine if the
component or system should be retired.
