Firmware Update
Firmware update of MTD- ID is done by updating the base unit. You’ll need an “ xxx + MTD-
ID” firmware file (xxx = name of the base unit ) . Please refer to chapter “ Firmware Update ” of
the base unit’s manual for det ails.
After the firmware update is finished please check power-up messages of both MTD-ID and its
base unit. Both firmware num bers have to be the same, e.g. “ 7.17 ”. If they’re different please
repeat the firmware update process, preferable over Ethernet.
