Take Google email account for an example here.

For portal sites email accounts, directly input your
email address and password, then click next.

After successful connection, input
Account Name

Your Name
.
Account Name
means the name of this
account in the device,
Your Name
means the displayed
name of your email in receivers’ account.

Then you will access the account. Click email titles to
read emails, long press email titles to access options.

Click menu icon
to access settings
Refresh: Checking new emails.
Compose: Write new emails.
Folders: Manage emails to different folders.
