Insurance

PLEASE NOTE!  It could cost you £50 - £100 if you do not read this.
The manufacturer's guarantee does not cover loss of food and the manufacturer will not accept any claim for loss.
It is strongly advised that contents of your freezer are insured on installation and checked regularly.
I.E. on a day to day basis.
The green indicator light (where fitted) does not indicate the temperature inside the freezer, it merely shows that the
mains supply connected to the freezer is on.

The manufacturer strongly suggests that you ensure you have adequate food insurance. Losses can result from deterioration
following breakdown or accidental failure of the appliance, fuses, plugs or public electricity supply. These may be covered by your
standard home insurance or might require extra cover. Check with your insurance broker or insurance company.

Wider insurance cover can normally be obtained to cover failure of the electrical supply through strikes, industrial action, etc, or
against accidental removal of the supply plug or wire, as has been known to happen when small children become inquisitive!

Precise details of such policies should be obtained from your insurance broker or insurance company.
